- 1. Field Service Technicians: Offshore Gulf of Mexico (GOM) Service Technician located in Lafayette, Louisiana area, candidate must have proficiencies and knowledge of running oil well tubular goods and mechanical aptitude.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Makes sure all equipment is compatible with all other gear used for job.
- Has application knowledge and expertise to include running of OCTG.
- Availability for 24-hour on-call shifts.
- Provides rig support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job.
- Uses experience and knowledge of applications to certify products and services are of top quality.
- Advises and trouble shoots equipment before, during and after the job.
- Handles all projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with company policies.
- Willingness to learn and accept additional responsibilities and have the ability to problem-solve on the spot.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Two year Technical college degree and/or equivalent experience in rig activities.
- 3 to 4 years of thorough mechanical and application proficiency with tubular running jobs and products.
- Knowledge of drilling techniques and drilling/work over rig operations.
- Capability to work well and communicate well with others.
- Salary depending on experience.
- 2. Field Service Technician Trainee / Warehouseman: Service Technician Trainee located in Lafayette, Louisiana area, candidate must have mechanical proficiencies and willing to learn with positive attitude along with good people skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make sure all equipment is compatible with all other gear used for job.
- Apply learning to all application knowledge in running of OCTG.
- On Call 24 Hours
- Provides rig support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job.
- Uses experience and knowledge of applications to certify products and services are of top quality.
- Advises and trouble shoots equipment before, during and after the job.
- Handles all projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Willing to learn and accept additional responsibilities and problem solve on the spot.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Two year Technical college degree and/or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of mechanical job or jobs.
- Good Knowledge of drilling techniques and drilling/work over rig operations is a big plus.
- Capability to work well and communicate well with others.
